Within the next decade, roughly half of today's jobs will change drastically, or disappear altogether: robots will take over assembly line jobs from blue collar workers; microelectronics devices will perform many white collar duties as well. New technology will usher in the miracles of bionics; it will increase communications and, possibly, make real every man's dream of more leisure than labor. At the same time, microelectronics will open new horizons for computer crime.
