Andrew of Galilee: Apostle of Christ
The figure of the Apostle Andrew, who often receives less attention than his brother, Simon Peter, and the Apostle John, is still considered one of the first disciples to encounter Christ and the one who brought Peter to Him. Because information about Andrew in the Gospels is relatively limited and most extra-Gospel sources are legendary, the author reconstructs his life from various fragments of the Gospel accounts. Using this approach, the book places Andrew within key events in Jesus' public life to depict his experiences, reactions, and character development as a disciple shaped directly by the Master.
