Jesus Christ: His Mind, His Heart
The fruits, then, of the study and imitation of Christ are manifold-peace of soul, purity of heart, a correct outlook on life and a quick and ready way of accomplishing one’s only task on earth. To set Him before us in his most winning and most useful aspects was the object and wish both of the author and of the translator of this book. May their reward consist in part also of a multitude of earnest readers, to whom, through its perusal, the mystery of our redemption shall have become a nearer and a dearer truth, and its Author a better-known and more beloved friend.
