Each guide in the series provides: (a) The complete text of a particular Gospel, or book of the Bible; (b) A commentary on that Gospel, or book, explaining its historical and sociological setting, key themes, and the style and intent of its author; (c) Topics for personal reflection and group discussion; (d) Thematic excerpts from Scripture for prayer and meditation; (e) A manual for planning and structuring group study sessions.
