Creed looks like a simple word that designates a rather straight forward statement of beliefs. It isn't and it doesn't.
The pages that follow are intended to show that while the Christian Creed is simple enough for the barely literate to grasp, it is worthy of study by professional scholars. And while this work is written for an audience more advanced than the former and not as informed as the latter, it assumes that everyone can profit from a fresh look at the Creed.
