Life of Mother Mary of the Cross (MacKillop)
Mary MacKillop (known religiously as Our Lady of the Cross) was the first Australian Catholic saint who founded the religious order of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of the Sacred Heart (Josephites) to educate poor and isolated children in rural Australia and New Zealand. Mary MacKillop's life is remembered for her courage, unwavering faith in God's will, and her unwavering commitment to never 'see a need without doing something' to help the marginalized.
