Newman's Apologia Pro Vita Sua
Apologia pro Vita Sua is an autobiographical work by John Henry Newman, in which he defended his religious beliefs after being attacked by writer Charles Kingsley. It was first published as a series of pamphlets in response to Kingsley's accusations that questioned Newman's honesty and honor. Apologia chronicles Newman's religious thought and how it led him from Anglicanism to the Catholic Church.
