Four Faultless Felons
Four Faultless Felons is a collection of mystery stories by G.K. Chesterton about four men who band together because of their bad reputations. Each story follows a pattern in which a criminal has committed a seemingly heinous crime, but with the intention of preventing a greater crime. Although legally guilty, they can be considered morally innocent, often by focusing on the motives behind their actions. Chesterton explores the paradox of law and morality, where legally wrongful actions can be morally justified.
