This book examine the origin of Christianity from the point of view of one who accepts alike the methods of analytical scholarship and the postulate of the large-scale, or finite-scale, uniformity of nature which is fundamental in modern science. (We are ignorant as to whether such uniformities exist in the realm of infinitesimals) The present volume is intended for those interested in the Christian faith who desire an account of its origin which shall be, so far as is possible, without bias.
