It would be extremely difficult to acquired even a fragmentary knowledge of all the saints, but it is not at all beyond the normal person's capacity to learn a good deal about a select group. Among the thousands of saints raised up by the Church no group , perhaps, is more select than that of the Fathers and Doctors. In twenty centuries, the Church has, to date, named only thirty.
