Labourers in the Vineyard
Labourers in the Vineyard (or Laborers in the Vineyard) refers to a 1930 book by the Italian writer Giovanni Papini, which contains biographical sketches of various historical figures, including Petrarch and Michelangelo. The title is also a reference to the Biblical parable from Matthew 20:1-16, which tells of a landowner who hires workers at different times of the day and pays them all the same wage. The parable teaches about God's grace and generosity, suggesting that everyone is valuable in God's kingdom, regardless of when they join or how much effort they appear to have contributed
