The Inner Truth: Reflections on the Human Dimension of Redemption
This book sets out to show how the "inner truth" of our human experiences of suffering, of failure, of family life, of belonging, of forgiveness, of seeking peace is made clear by the light of the reality that is Jesus Christ. The problem for many people is not so much to believe in God and in Jesus Christ but rather to see how that belief affects their daily lives. It seems, at times, that secularisation is driving faith into ever more restricted corners of life from which God is absent. It is never a question of creating links between God and life but of recognising his presence already there.
