Integral Justice: Changing People Changing Structures
What can pastoral ministers do to motivate more people to commitment and action? Integral Justice offers a program to do just that. Walsh, an experienced teacher and missioner, first introduces the Christian discovery process, that guides people into a deeper faith commitment. From this flows a rediscovery of the role of scripture, of a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, and of church as Easter-Pentecost process, culminating in the Eucharist. Integral Justice shows us that as people internalize their Catholic faith, it guides them forward to deeper commitments to others. They can begin then, to address both symptoms of injustice and the systems that cause injustice. This conversation to Gospel values will enable us to become effective agents for the transformation of the world.
