The Glory of God

Rex Chapman is perhaps best known for his books of free-form meditations. The Glory of God, however, is in the nature of a sequel to an earlier small book, A Glimpse of God, in which he sought to express a personal view of those experiences of faith and life that are the marks of Christian discipleship. His purpose in this book is 'to reflect more particularly upon the nature of the God whom I Glimpse and by whom I find myself, sometimes to my surprise, encountered'. Many factors distort all our perceptions of God, but this fact of life should not discourage us from seeking him throughout his world and within human experience.
