<note>How does being a Christian affect day-to-day lafe? What do we mean by being truly human?Should we revise our morality in the light of experience How credible is moral teaching which neglects the experience and insights women? How do we cope with disagreement on moral issues? What should we make of moral theologians who question Church teaching? These are just some of the questions Kevin Kelly explores in this book. Underlying it is the belief that the only convincing way we profess our faith is by the way we live our lives, both individually and as Church. It is there we fashion our response to all God has given us-ourselves, other belongs to the fabric of our being human persons. We are social beings, not just individuals. Understanding and living out our shared humanity as fully as possible is what morality is all about. That is why morality matters to God. It is also why it matters that we understand our 'humanness' as best we can at this stage in history.</note>
