Christ is God. He is the author of life. He is life itself. As the only-begotten Son He loves the Father with an infinite love. This love cannot be contained, and so He created all creatures to radiate God's loveliness and to share, each in its own limited way, in his joy. Not content to love His Father in His Own divine nature, as his creators, Christ is not satisfied with that. As the author of life and its source, He lives in His Creatures and in us.
