It brings to an end reflections which began tentatively in the first two books of this series, Personality Fulfillment in the Spiritual Life and Personality Fulfillment in the Religious Life. The science of fundamental lived spirituality could be called pre-theological and post-theological It is pre-theological insofar as it deals with matters that are not or not yet open to the theological method, such as certain psychological and bio-psychological dynamics and structures which, while the object of study of other sciences, can be integrated within a study of the spiritual unfolding of man.
