Historically and biblically oriented and written in the spirit characteristic of Vatican II, the Sacraments of Life and Worship is a superb study of the sacraments in their biblical, liturgical, personal, and corporate dimensions. Scholastic theology is already represented by individual works and sets of textbooks, the books in our historical section study dogmatic questions from a developmental point of view. In this way the editors hope to make the college students more aware of the great wealth of theological thinking that recent Historico - theological studies have uncovered. This method, which is more inductive than deductive, should happily coincide with the thought processes of the college student.
