Presents a synthesis of the thought of the Syriac Fathers of the fourth, fifth, and sixth centuries. The author demonstrates both how the Syriac tradition offers rich insights into the development of Christian thought, and that the theological insights of these writers are embodied in the liturgy and Divine Office of the Maronite Church.
