Assembly for Christ: From Biblical Theology to Pastoral Theology in the Twentieth Century
The assembly must be a sign of our sending forth as well as of gathering together. The author shows that the 'mystery' or sacramental aspect of the Christian assembly cannot be exclusively realised at the parish level. The missionary and universal nature of a truly biblical assembly also involves what may be called a collegiality of parishes.
