The eight men chosen for this new Theologians Today series share a common faith, an international reputation for both originality and orthodoxy, and a proved ability to communicate their ideas to their fellow Roman Catholics. They have, too, the experience of having lived and written before, during, and after the Second Vatican Council - through one of the greatest, but also one of the most turbulent, epochs of the Church's history.
