In this contemporary study of well-known and best loved Psalms, the author sheds new light on what he calls 'God's Words - Our Prayers'. From the structures of the Psalms discussed, he draws patterns for our own prayer: from the exquisite meditations and reflections on the Psalms themselves, he aids us in conversing with God in the Prayerful fashion of St. Ignatius: 'speaking exactly as one friend to another'.
