While the World Revolves: Being the life and martyrdom of Blessed John Houghton, Carthusian monk and martyr
This life of the Proto-martyr of Tyburn is the work of a young writer, indeed, I suspect it to be his first work. I have read it with ever-growing interest and admiration. It is in fact a beautiful book, not unworthy of the Blessed Martyr whose life it commemorates. It gives proof on every page of the author's devotion to our holy Faith, of his grasp of the historical crisis he has to deal with, and of his intense love and admiration of the hero and saint whose magnificent character he has so intimately studied.
