These four documents are about Jesus; especially about what he has to say about God. The very word, 'God', expresses something of the mystery at the heart of man's religious search. It means 'the called one', God is the one we call. We do not see his face; we do not hear his voice; yet we sense his presence at the heart of our lives, calling us. And we call on him. Men have always wanted to name him.
