One in there women worldwide has experienced physical or sexual violence from their partner; this includes at least 90 million Catholic women. The Mutual love and honor promised in marriage is not understood; hearts are broken; bodies and spirits are injured; hope begins to die. What can you as family member and Catholic do about domestic violence? What does a compassionate approach to the victim of violence look like? How can we provide help and safety to the families we know? How can you get help? Most of all, how can we work to prevent domestic violence in our families, one interaction at a time? Change is possible! The 'Gospel of the Family' demands it!
