The purpose of this filmstrip is to portray the pattern of Sabbath worship both in the home and in the synagogue. The students should keep i mind, however, that there is considerable diversity within the Jewish tradition. The first section of this guide provides a complete script of the filmstrip as well as a black-and-white reproduction of each frame. The second section contains suggested discussion questions and follow up activities, as well as a bibliography of additional resources.
