The renewal of the Liturgy, especially of the eucharistic celebration, invites the faithful to reflect on this 'most sacred mystery of the Eucharist' (as the Second Vatican Council calls this sacrament in the Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy). For this renewal does not limit itself to the rubrics, but at the same time it reveals a renewed, a more profound and a more contemporary understanding of the Eucharist.
