The present volume allows us to use these psalms as their original users did, namely to sing them. The text remains the same, with its remarkable preservation of the Hebrew rhythmic pattern, but in this version rhythmic accents for each line are indicated. Furthermore, the musical psalm formulas of Joseph Gelineau are included, together with detailed instructions for making use of this new method of singing.
