Fr. John presented this thesis on biblical theology to the Faculty of Theology to the Ponticial Urban University of Rome in June 1966. This a book which is bound to be a best-seller because of its important theme and of its grasp, understanding and knowledge of biblical lore. Fr. John has added a gem to the many volumes that are coming out these days on the study of Sacred Scripture, in which he is himself a specialist.
