Among the many problems raised by the crisis of the priesthood which is shaking the Church, we have decided to consider the following points which, leaving aside the sociological analysis, are essentially of a theological nature. (I) The condition of the priest in the world of today. (II) The theological roots of the crisis of priestly identity. (III) The church, the Priestly people of God. (IV) The Christological foundation of the priestly ministry. (V) The apostolate and the priestly ministry. (VI) The priestly ministry as eschatology service. (VII) The insertion of the priestly ministry in the world of today. (VIII) The spirituality of the priest.
