Where Do We Go from Here? A Family Stocktaking on Christian Education
We have been trying to bring up Christians. What in fact have we achieved? On the one hand, muddle ignorance, prejudice, rejection, nostalgia and a general failure of communication. On the other, insight, enthusiasm, hope and honesty. Rosemary Haughton got her own teenage children and a group of their friends to discuss religion, prayer, church-going, sex, love, jobs, friends and so on, in an attempt to evaluate the results of a conscientious family's religious upbringing.
