This book does not deal with these issues directly, but it does indeed deal with the theoretical problems presupposed by such issues, that is, the epistemological problems, of rationality and of theory construction in theology. Thus the search for valid epistemological criteria for a creditable Christian theology forms the main theme of this project. It is also my contribution to the broader epistemological issues presupposed by the current Theology and Science debate an issue which has become of increasing importance to me lately.
