Foundational Theology: Jesus and The Church
Much theological debate centers on foundational theology. Historical and philosophical criticisms have demolished traditional solutions, and these criticisms have posed new problems. They have raised and left unresolved issues specific to foundational theology. But more importantly they have challenged the nature and structure of foundational theology and have questioned its very methods and goals. The very name, fundamental or foundational theology, appears to be in dispute. This volume, therefore, seeks to discuss some of these most controverted issues and to analyze the nature of foundational theology itself.
