The news of the translation into English and the publication of Otto Weber's Grundlagen Der Dogmatic is sure to be met with elation in theological circles around the world... I know of no contemporary work which fills the bill as adequately for work with a class in systematic theology. Weber's FOUNDATIONS combines the best of the old in the venerable history of Reformed theology with the best of the new. In touch with Barth and Bultmann, he is also in constant conversation with earlier leaders in theological thought.
