Hindu Moral Life and Action: As Interpreted by Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan
In a world in which there is much to cause us anxiety, there also grounds for encouragement, and one of these is the rising interest in dialogue between cultures and religious that were for long isolated from each other. It is right to remember those who have opened the way to the new spirit of openness and communication, and a place of honour among them belongs to Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. This man, who among many other activities, was during his career both President of India and Professor at Oxford, was uniquely qualified to interpret East to West and West to East. His thoughland writings remain as relevant today as ever.
