This fourth volume of our series Readings in Moral Theology deals with the use of the Scripture in Christian ethics. This ecumenical and methodological aspects of this topic are obvious. Protestant ethics has consistently appealed to the Bible, but as essays is this volume show there has been a significant development in the twentieth century in the way in which Protestant ethics has utilized the Scriptures in trying to develop a systematic Christian ethics.
