This introduction to the text and theology of Q has grown out of a practical concern to provide undergraduate college students and graduate students without knowledge of Greek with a responsible reconstruction in English translation of the text of Q, as it was used by Matthew and Luke in the composition of their Gospels. Up to now there have been introductions to the content of Q but not printed together with a reconstruction of the next.
