Human Development and Learning
The general purpose of Human Development and Learning is to help students in Teachers Colleges and Departments of Education of Liberal Arts Colleges to achieve a constructive understanding of the psychological factors inherent in human growth and development and to gain practical insight into the basic principles of teaching and learning. Human development is traced through childhood and adolescence, and emphasis is placed upon the continuous interaction and interrelationship of the natural growth and maturational processes with the environmental forces and conditions that influence individual patterns of growing up and learning.
