Prophets and Wise Men
This is a book about a great debate, in Old Testament times, between prophets, who advocated trust in the Lord their God, and wise men, the administrators and politicians of their time, whose plans for government and defence were based on experience and practical secular considerations, convinced as they were that statesmanship could not be conducted in terms of the prophetic definition of 'faith in Yahweh'.
