Prayer in Christian Moral Life is not an ordinary book about prayer. It does not speak of the importance of prayer, its ways and methods, its stages or its graces. It is a book about prayer in our times. It takes us as and where we are. We live in societies in which there exists a broad pluralism of moral values with the result that is not easy to arrive at a fully personal integration between our private and public lives. In those circumstances, how does one make one's everyday life the expression of one's inner relationship with God? How does one integrate one's life of faith with moral decisions?
