John Calvin, a theological giant from the seventeenth century, created this book as a summary of all his understanding of the Christian religion. It is considered by most to be his lifetime masterpiece and is a requirement at most theological seminaries. Written originally in Latin and translated into English several times throughout the years, there are various versions using older English as well as one with more modern English.
