The Globalization of the Western Cultural Revolution: Hidden Agendas and Signs of the Times
By the global revolution we mean the dissemination throughout the world, after the fall of the Berlin wall, of a new ethics: secularist in its radical dimensions, this ethics is the outcome of the twentieth century's feminist, sexual and cultural revolutions and of the long course taken by the West towards postmodernity. This ethics informs the political norms of global governance and surreptitiously transforms cultures from within. The global cultural revolution embraces all aspects of life in society. This course focuses in particular on the study of the semantic revolution, the ethical revolution that it expresses, as well as the anthropological stakes of the globalization of the Western feminist and sexual revolutions. Indeed we believe that the deconstruction of the Judeo-Christian anthropology is at the source of the sociopolitical dysfunction characterizing global governance today.
