With this volume the Masters of Political Thought series is brought to completion. The first volume dealt with the masters of classical and medieval political theory Plato to Machiavelli to Bentham. This third, and final, volume concentrates on those of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and so brings the development down to our own day.
