Thesis Writing for Theology Students: A Primer
Thesis writing is something unique. You don't simply write; you have to follow rules. Worse, you are bound to face 'the firing squad' later! Like any other skill acquisition projects, it demands an ounce of endurance with translates happily into disciplines as the saying goes: 'No pain, no gain' Moreover, its uniqueness is spiced up with an irony, we avoid or evade problems, in thesis writing we search for a problem, solve it and defend its resolution. These overwhelming (sometimes scary) thoughts seem to linger an among future master and doctors who are in the process of writing a thesis or a dissertation or among those preparing to do so. The feeling of being burdened heavily by the dictates of writing regulation leads some writers sadly to relinquish the ask ahead of them, thus, resulting in a frustrated dream for higher learning. But the process is indeed, much more rewarding and fulfilling as it is demanding, to say the least.
