Media plays a vital and important role in our society. It serves as one of our behavioral model, specifically, the most powerful. We begin to know about life, sex, morality, proper uses and abuses of things, about attitudes and values in the movie, videos, television, radios, comics, tabloids, magazines and recordings. Film Criticism and Media Education by Filipino Values is the theme of this issue. The Philippine media and movies took a great role in the formation of the Filipino values. While it is true that both cater to the upliftment of the common good, the misuse of these mediums of the communication and their abuse resulted to the miseducation of the Filipinos.
