The present short treatise on the Scapular devotion, merely from the pastoral point of view, is intended for missionary purpose only. The history of each Scapular is given in the briefest form and needless to say, the traditional account of each is accepted by the writer in the same spirit in which it is related by the Institute or Order to which it belongs.
