This first part considers the Personal Christ. Head of the Mystical Body and Divine Source of all life to whom the soul must submit if it desires to collaborate in the redemption of the world. The second part describes the living community, founded in the Whole Christ, by the members of His Mystical Body. The third part shows the identity of the Mystical Body with the Church of Christ. All the meditations are solidly based on dogma and are concerned with throwing into high relief the virtues of courage, fortitude and self-mastery, which participation in the reality of the Whole Christ demands of all faithful Christians.
