This paper present selective statistical information relating some of the ideas, perceptions and attitudes of several non-random samples of Year Twelve students (male and female) attending Catholic schools within the Archdiocese of Sydney (specifically) the inner and outer Western suburbs) N.S.W. towards those who live in religious or priestly lifestyles. From this information, some observations and several tentative conclusions will be drawn. In confining my paper to the vocational options of priesthood and religious life, I do not intend to minimize or reduce the responsibility of all Christians to be evangelists.
