This is a sequel to Good Lord, Where Are You? Though the selections in that volume are called 'paraphrases', they are actually prayers based on specific psalms or portions of psalms. So also with this volume. Here is what the psalmist might be saying if he were living in the 20th century. Living in the 20th century, as we are, he would be saying it within the context of New Testament Christianity. True, the Christ name is not used; the word 'gospel' is not include; the messianic import of the psalms is not noted.
