Objections to Roman Catholicism
Objections to Roman Catholicism' could never have been written but for Pope John's 'aggiornamento' or bringing up to date of the Roman Catholic Church. (Having twice already used the term 'Roman', I propose to drop it in the rest of this introduction. I do this, of course, not with any intention of offending other Communions who object to the Church in Communion with the See of Peter calling itself 'Catholic' tout court, but simply for convenience.
